She's done a LOT of acting work over the last 40 years so there is a chance you've seen her in something or heard her voice as she's done some voice work too . Its more in the last 30 years she's had more major/longer roles in shows instead of random appearances (E.G. ER, The Shield, Warehouse 13, NOLA).

I've seen her things without knowing it & only now realising looking at her acting credits
