Watched the 1st season of Fringe whilst I was away. Still can't understand why Sanford Harris wanted to kill Olivia and Nancy Lewis when he was supposed to be activating them. Perhaps when Olivia came after Nancy with the FBI he realised that the game was up so would rather kill them than anyone else get their hands on them.
I don't think Jones wanted to kill William Bell, I think he wanted William to save him.
